James J. Leslie, 92, of Ossian, left the suffering of this life to enter Heaven’s gates on Saturday, June 26, 2021. James served in the U. S. Army and also worked for the Fort Wayne Police Department. James is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marcella Leslie; stepsons, James (Judy) Minnick of Roanoke and Joseph (Leah) Minnick of Markle; daughter, Laurrie Fancher of Fort Wayne; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Leslie. Funeral service will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777 with visitation starting at 2:30 PM on Friday.
