John R. “J. R.” Shull, of Ossian, passed away May 9, 2014. He was born August20, 1964 in Muncie, IN. He was a Marine Veteran and worked as a mechanic for McCammon Trucking. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. His true passion was working on any type of motors. Surviving are his children, John (Mary) Shull, Jr. of Whiteland, IN, Zachary Clay Shull of Ossian, Misty Logan of Muncie, and Ryan Logan of Eaton, IN; mother, Carolyn Bond of Muncie; father, Carl J. (Judy) Shull of Muncie; siblings, Tammy (Bert) Spain of Wichita, KS, Tina (Scott) Jonker of Wichita, KS, Dawn R. Shull of Portland, IN, Jerry D. (Patty) Shull of Lafayette, IN, and Vickie (Wayne) Greenlee; grandson, Jay R. Shull, III; best and life time friend, Harvey (Monica) Sallee of Ossian; Companion Michelle Ellis of Churubusco; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777 with visitation 1 hour prior. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family.
