

Judy Kay Hoffman, 69, of Ossian, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, January 13, 2012. She was born on November 11, 1942 in Fort Wayne to the late Charles and Virginia (Burkas) Colderbank. She worked at Archway Cookies and later Ellison Bakery. She was a member at St. Aloysius Catholic Church and spent time as a Room Mother and PTA member at Ossian Elementary. She enjoyed bowling, ice skating, water skiing, riding motorcycles, but most of all spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Surviving family include husband of 49 years, Ken Hoffman of Ossian; children, Tina (Bob Burnside) Hoffman of New Haven, Brenda (Dan) Rupright of Ossian, Chris (Tonya) Hoffman of Fort Wayne, Peggy (Bill) Smith of Ossian; 8 grandchildren, Kenny Starnes, Zach Burnside, Adam and Jessica Rupright, Brandon and Jonathon Hoffman, Tyler and Hanna Smith; and siblings, Roseanne (Larry) Bonbrake, Charles (Rosie) Colderbank, Jr., William (Joy) Colderbank.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Rd., Yoder with Mons. Bernard Galic officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian with a rosary service at 8 pm. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Masses or Family Hospice of N.E. Indiana.
