I recently ran into Matt at a "Foundations" meeting in downtown Bluffton. I myself was a 2009 Norwell graduate, and it had been at least 10 years since seeing him last. The evening itself was quite impactful as I spoke with a brave man who had battled health issues at a time in life when few deal with similar issues. It was awesome to see a peace in Matt that few possessed and to also learn some very profound perspectives on life. I didn't know Matt very well whether at Norwell or in the past 10 years, but that one evening in Bluffton will certainly leave a lasting impression and a level of respect I have for him. Please know that I will be praying for your family and hope to share a few more memories in heaven with him someday.
