Mildred M. Springer, 81, of Ossian passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010. She was born on August 20, 1929 to the late Roy J. and Martha M. (Huebner) Cayot. She worked at Richard’s Restraunt for 23 years and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed her flowers, quilting, and crocheting. Surviving family include her children, Hal (Susan) Springer of Bierren Springs, MI, Arlin (Cindy) Springer of Yoder, Lee (Mary) Springer of Decatur, Scott (Angie) Springer of New Haven; siblings, Cathlene Lloyd, Ilene Kern, Marcella Shaw, Carolyn Goebel, Marilyn Kaltenmark, Rich Cayot, Bob Cayot, Dale Cayot; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edward G. Springer; brothers, Harold, Eugene, and Mamford Cayot. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday November 3, 2010 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian with one hour calling prior to services.
