

Belinda was born on June 27, 1973 in Othello to Amado and Esperanza Gonzalez. She was raised and educated here, attending Othello High School, and achieving her GED in 1996. She attended Big Bend Community College and earned her Child Development Associate certification. In 1999 Belinda went to work for the Washington Migrant Council as an early childhood teacher. In 2006 Belinda went to work for the Moses Lake Community Health Center as a receptionist, a job she enjoyed until her death.
Belinda will be remembered as a deeply caring person who was easy to get to know. She had many friends and always enjoyed her time with them. Belinda was a peacemaker, often resolving arguments and bringing both sides together. She loved her family and the time they spent together. Her main passion in her life was her son Miguel. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Belinda is survived by her parents Amado and Esperanza Gonzalez of Mission, TX, Her son Miguel of Othello, her boy friend Manuel Sanchez, her brothers and sisters-in-law Armando and Mindy of Othello, Robert and Stella of Sacramento, CA, and Amado and Diana of Othello, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A time for visitation has been reserved for Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Stevens Funeral Chapel beginning at 4:00pm and ending at 8:00pm. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Belinda on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Othello. Interment will follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens. To view this obituary and leave a note for the family please visit stevensfuneralchapel.com.
