Adrienne Jeanne Game

(née Lanthier)

Sept.22, 1932- May.18.2013

On May 18, 2013, with family at her side, Adrienne peacefully succumbed to her lymphoma at the Elizabeth Bruyère Palliative Care Centre in Ottawa at the age of 80.

Proud mother of three sons, Mark (Christiane Séguin), Vance (Dayle Baich) and Todd (Marlene Rosychuck). Adrienne was predeceased by her grandson Cory (Game), and was the loving grandmother (aka Nanou) to Chad (Game), Jasmine (Minary), Amy (Baich), Ryanna (Baich) Ashton (Baich), Justin (Madland) and Andrea (Kuchera). She was also the Great-grandmother of William (Trudel-Game), Ethan (Weiss) and Hayden (Weiss). She was the dear sister of Jacqueline (late Leo Hargreaves) and Geraldine (late André Beauparlant) and she was the Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home at 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario (613-241-3680) on Saturday, May 25th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm to say a final farewell.

At the same location, a memorial service celebrating Adrienne’s life will begin at 2:00pm and a reception will follow.

The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the caregivers and staff of the Elizabeth Bruyère Palliative Care Centre for their extraordinary skill and compassion at providing Adrienne with her final wishes — to die with dignity and without pain. We will be forever grateful.

Est succombée paisiblement entourée de sa famille suite à un lymphome au centre de santé soins palliatifs Elisabeth Bruyère le 18 mai, à l'âge de 80 ans.

Ses trois fils Mark (Christiane Séguin),Vance (Dayle Baich) et Todd (Marlene Rosychuck) étaient sa grande fierté. Adrienne fut prédécédée par son petit-fils Cory (Game).Elle était la grand-mère bien-aimée (aka Nanou) de Chad (Game), Jasmine (Minary), Amy (Baich), Ryanna (Baich) Ashton (Baich), Justin (Madland) and Andrea (Kuchera). Elle était également l'arrière grand-mère de William (Trudel-Game), Ethan (Weiss) and Hayden (Weiss). Elle était la soeur de Jacqueline (feu Leo Hargreaves) and Geraldine (feu André Beauparlant), et la tante de plusieurs nièces et neveux.

La famille invite parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp 180, ch. Montréal, Ottawa, Ontario (613-241-3680) samedi le 25 mai de midi à 14h pour lui dire un dernier au revoir. Un service en mémoire d'Adrienne sera célébré en la Chapelle de la Maison Funéraire à 14h et une réception suivra.

La famille aimerait exprimer leur grande reconnaissance aux aides soignants et au personnel du centre de santé soins palliatifs Elisabeth Bruyère pour leur dévouement et leur compassion pour que Adrienne puisse mourir dans la dignité et sans douleur ce qui était d'ailleurs une de ses dernières volontés. Pour ceci nous vous en seront toujours reconnaissant.
