Brian A Ling

January 17, 1939 - November 1, 2024

On November 1st, 2024, at 85 years, Brian passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband to Constance Ling (Deziel), loving father to Shawn Ling (predeceased) Lynne Danis, Paul Ling, Lisa Ling, Krista Tevlin (Robert Keyes), Peter Ling (Genny Silvestro), eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret Ling and his four siblings Patricia McLeod, Colleen Barclay, Daniel and Glen Ling. Brian will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of The Glebe Centre (77 Monk St. Ottawa), who provided unprecedented care for the past 4 1/2 years.

Family and friends are welcome to pay respects prior to the service Saturday, November 16, 2024. St. Maurice Church, 4 Perry Street, Ottawa K2G 1K5; followed by a mass at 11am. Reception will be in the parish hall following the service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Dementia Society.
