It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Dan MacDonald, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at Maycourt Hospice, at the age of 95.
He was the son of the late Daniel MacDonald and the late Mary MacDonald. Beloved husband of the late Berthe MacDonald.
He leaves in sorrow his son Paul MacDonald, one niece Denise Cousineau-Leduc (Roch Leduc), and friends.
His siblings predeceased him: Father Paul and Camilla.
The family would like to thank the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Center, the palliative care program, and the Maycourt Hospice.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 11 am. At the Annunciation of The Lord Church, 2414 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca/en/) would be appreciated.
