Denise LaCharity

Daughter of the late Aurele Breton (1913-1979) and the late Noëlla Labelle (1917-2005) Loving wife to Eldon LaCharity for 53 years. Mother to Lynn, Brenda (Stéphane) and Billy (Jo-Ann). Grandmother to Naomi, Dylan, Tayshaun, Piper, Aria and Charlotte. Great-grandmother to London and Isaiah. Sister to Pauline, Robert (Vicki), Hélène, Gérard (Robin), Richard (Nicole), Guy (Louise), the late Jeannine, the late Roland (the late Gail), and the late Pierrette (Mark). Denise was an aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt to dozens of treasured nieces and nephews.

Denise was born on January 22, 1944 in Ottawa, Ontario. Denise and Eldon married August 31, 1968. They built their family home in 1973, with the help of her late father Aurele Breton. Where she raised her family, and hosted countless family and extended family celebrations. Denise lived for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was always there when anyone needed her. Denise loved to spend her summers with her family and friends at the campsite in Delta. Denise will be remembered for the love, warmth and joy she expressed while being with friends and family.

Denise worked at the Red Cross for many years before she had children. Afterwards she devoted her time to her family and worked at The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for more than 29 years, retiring August 30, 2004. She will forever be in our hearts and greatly missed.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 28, 2021. 12:00 pm. at Saint Bernard Church and will be live streamed at https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/34391.

There will be visitation from 11:30 am till 12 noon at Saint Bernard Church.

Afterwards please join the family in a celebration of life at Denise and Eldon's home.
