Peacefully at The Hospice at May Court on February 3rd at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Cécile (née Pagé). Dearly loved father of Mark (Suzanne) and Brian. Loving Grampa of Matthew, Mélanie, Catherine, Cassidy, and Great-Grampa of Alexis. Dear brother of Eddie, Lorne (Mary-Joan), Theresa, Joey (Terri), and pre-deceased by Margaret, Billy and Emmett. He will be remembered and missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends with whom he shared a special appreciation for the game of golf. Also fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Friends are invited to visit at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road on Sunday February 6th from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral mass will be held on Monday February 7th , 11 am at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Drive. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery. Special appreciation and heartfelt thanks to his sister-in-law, Georgette Pagé, Dr. Louise Coulombe, the nursing staff, caregivers and volunteers of The Hospice at May Court for their compassionate and loving care.
