Issa Mikhail Saab

The family is deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our dear Issa, in the early morning hours of Friday, November 28, 2025, at the age of 76 after he fought a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Beloved husband of the late Wafaa Nesrallah Saab.

Predeceased by his parents Mikhail and Shakibi Saab and his sister Mary Saab.

Loving father of Zena (Sami) and Ziad (Marie-France).

Cherished grandfather of Majeda and Zain.

Dear brother of Moussa (Linda), Boulos (Sylvie), Samih and Adel.

He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Issa immigrated to Ottawa, Canada from Kfarmishki, Lebanon in 1971, where he settled, married, and worked hard to raise his family. He owned several restaurants over the course of his life, loved tending to his garden and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa. followed by the funeral service.

Interment at Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
