Jean-Pierre Mallette

It is with great sadness that his family announce his passing on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his home at the age of 66 years. He was the son of the late Leopold Mallette and of the late Cécile Villeneuve. Cherished husband of the late Louise Mallette for over 27 years. Loving stepfather of Chantal Pilon and Stephane Pilon. Beloved grandfather of Jesse and Sara Lynn Cormack. Jean-Pierre was the brother of Marie, Marcel, Roger, Jacques, Michel, Monique, Denis, late Francine and the late Jacqueline. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road (Ottawa) on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 from 1 – 4 p.m. and Saturday, December 4th, 2021 from 12 – 2 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home’s Chapel. Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services for those age 12 and older. Masks are required.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the ByTown Palliative Care, the Bayshore Health Care and to Dr. Gupta for the excellent care provided. In memory of Jean-Pierre, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
