The family announces on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 at the age of 84 the passing of John "Gibby" McKendry. He was the son of the late Harold McKendry and the late Bernadette Major. He was predeceased by his wife Suzanne Renaud. He leaves in sorrow his children Debra Paquette (Pierre), Darlene Fairfield (Paul) and Johnny McKendry; his grandchildren Jean, Julie, Crystal, Brittney, Kristen and Suzanne; his great-grandchildren : Marilyne, Madden, Skylar & he was predeceased by his great-grandson Justin. Also leaving many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at 1:30 PM in the chapel of Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home. Family will receive condolences at 1 PM at the funeral home. Donations in Gibby’s Memory to the Canadian Cancer Foundation – Laryngeal & Esophagus Cancer Research would be greatly appreciated.
