Kenneth Faloon

Peacefully on March 14th at home with his family by his side in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Ronayne (nee Gans). Ken will be remembered and greatly missed by his 8 children, Tom(Judy), Dave(Mary Beth), Joanna(Murray), Robert, Hugh(Sherri), Karen(Mark), Patrick and Tracey(Mike). Loving grandfather of Matthew(Sarah),Katie(Jamie),Sarah(Ben), Ashley, Kaela, Kristopher, Samantha, Joel, Kenneth, Garreth, and Kendra. Proud great grandfather of Declan, Parker, Rory, and Rowan. Ken was born and raised in Ottawa by his beloved mother Margaret surrounded by his sisters Lois (Anderson) and Dorothy(Fox) and the many D'arcy and Larose clan. He proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air force in WW2. As a highly respected podiatrist, Dr Ken was revered by 1000's of patients who he constantly entertained. On retirement Ken and Ronnie traveled extensively, golfed and enjoyed 25 years of Florida winter sun. He loved to entertain and be entertained. His last 2 years at home were enabled by the fabulous and loving care of Jane, Sylvia, Mary-Lou, Marjorie and Aguada who continue to assist Ronayne. Many thanks to the Palliative Care Team, Dr. Bright and Dr Hurdon for their help and support during dad's last days. Memorial donations may be made to the Ottawa Boys and Girls Club, who were invaluable to him as a youth. At Ken's request there will be no funeral. A celebration of life for family and friends will follow in the spring.
