Krista Colleen Fraser

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Krista, who transitioned on July 20, 2024 at the age of 45; was born in Halifax, NS to Ernest & Marilyn (Gray) Fraser. Krista was a member of Saint Thomas Baptist Church, The Children of the Kingdom & The Children Choir in North Preston, NS. Krista always had her faith in God and trusted Him each day. She worked as a Medical/Administrative Assistant for over 18 years. Krista was very hardworking, dedicated, kind hearted, compassionate, and respected. She loved to bake for her family and friends, and was the life of the party wherever she stepped in. Krista was known to be outgoing, and social. She will be extremely missed by her loving family and those who knew her.

Krista is survived by her husband, Gary Howard; daughters, Kyeasia (Poompins) Taeleigh Fraser (Jelani)

and Sienna (Winka) Saige Howard; Son, Kairo (Boysie) Uriah Jade Howard; Stepdaughter, Jasmine Howard; Grandson, Elijah Poirier; Sisters, Kimberly Fraser, Janel Fraser; Brother, Ernest (Meaghan) Fraser;

Miranda Gray, and Rio Gray were raised in the home with Krista and siblings; Nieces & Nephew, Shariah

Fraser, Drew Brooks, Micah Fraser, Gia Fraser; Godchildren, Tiondra Fraser, Prince Elijah, Princess Ayla,

Denise Gray; Godfather, Gary Beals Sr; Mother-in-law, Mrs. Amy Howard; many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins; Predeceased by maternal grandparents, Lorne & Lydia (Downey) Gray; paternal, Ernest & Janet

(Willis) Fraser; Godmother, Loretta (Gray) Beals.

Krista’s service will be held on July 30, 2024 at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel. Address is 1411
