She will always be remembered for her sense of humour, generosity, as well as her kind and loving heart, which never deserted her over these many years. We feel blessed to have had her in our lives for all this time and will miss her so very much.
A very special thank you to the caring staff, private sitters, and volunteers at the Carleton Lodge Long Term Care Residence for their compassionate and personal care these past six years.
In keeping with Laura’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. However contributions in her memory may be made to the Carleton Lodge Auxiliary for activities benefitting all the residents who call Carleton Lodge their home.
Mom had requested her ashes be taken to the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Chelmsford, Ontario to be with her parents. Celebrations of her long life will take place whenever family and friends get together. We all have a wealth of memories that can be shared, cherished, and chuckled over!
