After a courageous 8 year battle with multiple myeloma and heart failure, Lorraine succumbed peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Lorraine was the beloved wife of Ernie Zoppa for 58 years, the loving mother of Kim (Philippe Masson-Zoppa) and Jenni Zoppa-Thorne and dear Grandma of Leilah, Luka, Matthew and Kyle. Survived by her brother and sister-in- law, Walter and Dorothy Zoppa. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Cardiac and Palliative Care Teams at the Ottawa General Hospital, for their excellent care. Private family arrangements have taken place.
