After a courageous battle with cancer, in his 77th year, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013.Beloved husband of 56 years to Annette, loving father of Danielle (Danny), Liane (Eddy), Robert (Lyne) and Christiane “Kiki” (Steven). Cherished Poppa (Grumps) to Chantal, Shannon, Nelson, Michelle, Carleena, Stéphanie, Jessica and Jaime. Proud grandfather to 7 ¾ great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Conrad and Lucienne, his brother Claude and his sister Thérèse. Family and friends are invited to Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa) on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 9 am . A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10:30 am at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Rd, Ottawa).The family wishes to thank all the palliative medical staff who provided such exceptional care and support at the Elizabeth-Bruyère Hospital.
