Louise Lise Marie Currier

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share that Louise Currier " Grams/Tante Louise " passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 25, 2024. She loved her family very much and touched the lives of so many. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Moreau and the late Marie Blanche Brunet (stepdaughter to Albert Ellis). She was the wife of the late Richard Currier. She was a proud mother to Suzanne Currier (mother-in-law to Ben) and a beloved grandmother to Monika, Selyna (Sebastien), Antonyo (Valentina), Exavier and Eva. Louise also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Jayden, Adrianna, Lucio, Kobe and Loca, her siblings: Jean-Marc Moreau (Cathy), Rose Marie Moreau, Lisette Moreau (Dick) and Lise Moreau and her nephews and nieces. She was a special aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, friend, and colleague to many more.

The family would like to thank the Bayshore, Champlain and the Bytown Palliative Home Care Team for their support, dedication, and excellent care. A special thanks to Blue Nile owners for their involvement and keeping her spirit up on a daily basis. 

On January 23, 2025, Louise's funeral service will be held at the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica Church located at 385 Sussex Drive Ottawa, ON K1N 1J9. The service will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a lunch reception in the basement hall.
