It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Louise Deslongchamps (née Gougeon) in Ottawa on November 16th, 38 days following the loss of her beloved husband Emile. She leaves in sorrow her loving daughter Josée and her adored son-in-law Rick, along with her cherished grandchildren Martin Brisson (Heather) and Laurence Brisson (Andrew). She also leaves behind her loving sister Diane Lafontaine (Roger) and her very special niece Lucille Cain (Daniel), as well as her sister Jacqueline and many other nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister Hélène. The family wishes to thank the Critical Care AMA Team at the Ottawa general Hospital and Dr. Daniel Vincent of Hospice Care Ottawa for the excellent care and compassion provided. In memory of Louise, donations to Hospice Care Ottawa would be appreciated. There will be no service, by request.
