Lucille Renaud

Nous avons le grand regret d’annoncer son décès à l’âge de 91 ans. Celui-ci s’est produit paisiblement à l’Hôpital Montfort le 11 octobre 2024. Originaire d’Ottawa, Lucille était la fille de feu Raoul Cornellier et de feu Annette Cornellier (née Gravelle). Elle était l’épouse bien aimé de feu Yvon Renaud et la mère de Lynn Renaud.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses petits-enfants : Victoria Crosbie (née McGuire), James McGuire ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants : Allison, Charlotte et Rosemarie.

Son départ laissera un vide dans le cœur de son frère Gerard Cornellier.

Lucille fut prédécédée par ses frères : Lucien Cornellier, Roger Cornellier ainsi que sa sœur Isabelle Martin (née Cornellier).

La famille tient à remercier l’équipe de la Résidence Héritage Chartwell ainsi que l’équipe de l’Hôpital Montfort pour leurs excellents soins prodigués.

Une messe funéraire aura lieu à la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa, Ontario, K1L 1B4) vendredi le 25 octobre 2024 à 11h00. La famille recevra les condoléances dès 10h00.

L’inhumation aura lieu dans l’intimité de la famille à une date ultérieure.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing at the age of 91 years old. Lucille left this world peacefully on October 11, 2024 at the Montfort Hospital. Born in Ottawa, she was the daughter of the late Raoul Cornellier and of the late Annette Cornellier (née Gravelle). She was the loving wife of the late Yvon Renaud and mother to Lynn Renaud.

She leaves in mourning her grandchildren: Victoria Crosbie (née McGuire), James McGuire along with her great grandchildren: Allison, Charlotte and Rosemarie.

She will be missed by her brother Gerard Cornellier.

Lucille was predeceased by her brothers: Lucien Cornellier, Roger Cornellier and her sister Isabelle Martin (née Cornellier).

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the excellent care and service received by the staff at Heritage Chartwell Retirement Home and the team at Montfort Hospital.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K1L 1B4 Ontario) on Friday October 25, 2024 at 11AM. The family will be receiving condolences as of 10:00AM.

The burial will be held amongst friends and family at an ulterior date.
