Majid El-Khoury

It is with great sadness we announce the passing away of our dear Majid on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the age of 76.

Loving husband and doting father who will be missed by his family end every one who knew him for he was the most kind, generous, and sincere person.

He is survived by his wife Samira (née Khalouf), his sons Pierre and Andrew Khoury, His daughter Hala Khoury, brother Hail khoury and Sisters Hanieh wife of John Khoury and their families and many nephews and nieces in Canada and Syria; Predeceased by his Brothers Elias, Naaman and Joseph El Khoury and Sisters Afifi (née Marina) Kamleh (David Khoury) and Rasmieh (née Abboud).

Relatives and friends can say good bye at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road Ottawa on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m and 7:00 to 9:00p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Elias Cathedral 2975 Riverside Dr. Ottawa Ottawa on Friday, January 16, 2026. at 11:00 a.m followed by interment at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street.

In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, in memoriam donations to St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
