With great sadness the family announce the passing of Marcel Janvier, on August 10, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Bruyére (St. Vincent) Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario. Marcel was born in Pestel, Haiti. He leaves in mourning his spouse Julienne Janvier (Arnoux), his children Myrianne Janvier (Jean-Claude Saint-Fort), Yolène Janvier (Bernard Chauvet), Islande Janvier, Marie Ange Janvier, Rodrigue Janvier (Gerdy), Marguerite Janvier (Romel Jolibois), Edline Janvier (Nivon Dumoulin), Ernso Louis-Charles, Lucette Louis-Charles, Marie-lydie Michel, and his sister Therese Janvier. Predeceased by children Fanette Janvier (Valcourt), Kesnel Janvier and Dominique Louis-Charles. Grandfather to 30 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, August 19 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home.
