It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Marcelle Cantin on Tuesday November 16, 2010 at the St-Louis Residence of Orleans at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Georges Pomerleau and the late Bernadette Bilodeau. She was predeceased by her brothers Lucien, Léopold and Rolland as well as the father of her children Corom Cantin. Loving mother of Bernadette (Claude), Gabrielle (Raoul), Madeleine (Bernard), Michelle (Hector), Pierre (Jackie), Monique (Raymond), Mario (Susan), Philippe, Jules (Debbie) and Jocelyne (Claude). Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren and great grandmother of 28 great grandchildren. She also leaves in grief many nephews, nieces and friends. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m on Saturday November 20 at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa (613)241-3680). A Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. at Sacré-Coeur Church (591 Cumberland Street, Ottawa). In memory of Mrs Cantin, donations to the Canadian Hearing Society (2197 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, On K1H 7X3) would be appreciated.
