On Monday, November 30, 2015, Margaret Peacock of Vegreville, Alberta, formerly of Ottawa, Ontario passed away at the age of 84 years. Margaret is survived by her loving family; son Keith Sicard; grandchildren Michael Cassidy, Shannon Goffinet-Cassidy and André Lacroix; numerous great grandchildren; siblings Lawrence Hagarty, Nadine Panagitopolous, Gerald Hagarty and Gary Hagarty; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Margaret’s daughter Pauline Lacroix (Yves) died only a few days after Margaret’s death. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Thursday, December 10 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, December 11 at 1 pm in Saint Patrick’s Basilica, 220 Kent Street. Burial at St. Andrew`s (New) Cemetery, Saturday at 11 am in Killaloe, Ontario. In memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
