Peacefully early on Sunday morning, December 13, 2015 surrounded by her children, at the age of 80. She leaves behind her much loved husband Eurico; children Manuel (Matilde), Fatima (Tony Da Silva) Teri (Rocky Crupi); grandchildren Jeff (Shanna), Melissa (Josh), Eric (Anna), Michael (Shannon), Jason and Paul; great grandchildren Leo, Liliana, Davin, Daniella, Francesco, Isaac, Vincenzo; brothers Joao (Paulina) Terezinha, Serafim (Fatima) and the late Manuel. Family and friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road, on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Bernard Church. Interment Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
