Passed away peacefully on June 27 in Ottawa in her 74th year. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Gerald Lafrance, her children Luc (Céline), Anne, Monique (RJ), her grandchildren, Benoît, Deanna, Kalika, Renée and Dominic as well as her sisters Bernice, Jane and her brother Peter (Valérie). She will be remembered for her contributions as a nurse at the Pembroke General and the Montfort hospitals for 31years and her work with the Catholic Women’s League. Friends may join us for visitation at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home 180 Montreal Rd. (613-241-3680) on Friday June 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held Saturday June 30th 2012 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 320 Olmstead, Vanier at 9:45 a.m. Burial will be celebrated at the Indian Hill cemetery in Pakenham. Donation can be made in her name to the Assumption Church Furnace Fund
