Dear Mr. and Mrs. Zoryk and family,

My sincere condolences to you and all of your beloved family. I am absolutely stunned by this news. Looking back at my childhood, I can't help but smile and think about Michael and all the great times we had shared together. From my first year of kindergarten at St.Margaret Mary's School (playing with Michael in the sandbox), to my first real job as a teenager (Michael and I were hired together), to when we had graduated High School...Michael and I were together every step of the way. He was truly a loyal friend and I will miss him dearly.

Mike you had a huge impact on our family and Victor. He held your dream of being the largest landscaping company in Ontario and watching you two night after night talk about work and what has to be done was exhausting lol but you both shared the same love. Christmas will never be the same. We love you so much and wish we had the chance to tell you that. Our prayers are with your family and loved ones as we still try to accept the fact our best friend is no longer here xoxo.

You and I only started to do business together over the last 2 years but getting to know you was a pleasure. It was great to find another person in business with a "get er done" attitude like mine! It is hard to find kind, hard working business people out there that are also honest so it was great that we found each other.

You were a fierce business man and I learned alot from you so thanks for that!  I respected you a ton mainly because I could tell you had alot of care/compassion for your employees, customers, friends and family.  You were tough but also gentle which is a winning combination . 

I wish we would have had more time to continue on with our business ventures as well as continue to grow our new friendship. We made great partners and nothing would have stopped us together as a team!  You will be missed by many Mike!

All my best to your family and friends and all the people you touched in your life. I know you are finally able to get the rest/peace you wanted where you are now and you will be watching over everyone !

Dear Mike and Halina, and family, Andrea and Millie,
It is with profound regret and deepest sorrow Hal and I send our sincere condolences to you both, and all of your beloved family. To say we are in shock is an understatement. Vera called with the tragic news today. We send our love and hugs to you and can only imagine  how hard these past days have been for you all.   This is not how the natural order of things should be. It is so very heartbreaking. Something written by Aeschylus (a famous Greek playwright) that has always given me some comfort: 
“in our sleep, pain, which cannot forget, falls drop by drop upon the heart until, in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom, through the awful grace of God”.

17 years later, things are a shock. The kids miss you and will always. You had your way with Bruser. He’s tough just like you. Bella...Princess, always the sassy diva. RIP

Mary Jo and I were shocked to read the news about Michael Junior. Our deepest condolences. I will never forget standing on Seneca Hill with Michael in the middle of the night staring at the moon and stars through telescope and binoculars. It does not seem that long ago.

What to say? I’m in supreme shock.... this wasn’t supposed to happen. We were supposed to be finding our home and moving forward to make new memories as you said to me the very same day you passed. Despite all the years, all the ups and downs, we always found our way back to each other. You were my Yogi and I your Boo Boo; a pair until the end. You accepted Millie as your own and loved her so much it melted my heart each time I was able to see the two of you together. She loves you unconditionally and asks for you all the time. You were a father to her in all the best ways. That just made my love for you grow and expand beyond what I thought was possible. You became a part of my family, both with Kelly and Duane in Kingston and my Mom and Dad, Kathy, Pat, Kenzie and Alex in NB. They all love you too and will miss you immensely. 

I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do without you. You kept me positive on my darkest days, encouraged me to keep learning and adapting and loved me through it all. We were not perfect - we disagreed a lot and frustrated each other, but I believe that in the end we both needed it to help us to grow. I had looked forward to continuing to work and improve with you hand in hand because you were more than worth it. You are a kind and generous man whose sometimes gruff exterior hid a sensitive, truly compassionate and beautiful soul. 

I am so glad I jumped In front of you and introduced myself that day back in the bus tunnel in university. It started the greatest, lifelong adventure and gave me someone who has been my best friend and partner. Millie and I will keep your memory alive together and you will live in our hearts always. Rest In Peace my love until we can meet again. I love you with my whole heart. 😘😘😘

Mike, in the short time that we knew each other through our TEC group, I could tell that you put your heart and soul into everything.  You will be missed by our group.  The world is going to miss one  hard working man.  My condolences to your family and your friends.  We will miss you.  

I was totally blown away with the news!  I am still sort of numb from hearing it, I cannot believe you are gone! I am so sorry to hear of your passing, and my sincere condolences goes to the Zoryk family.  You are all in my thoughts in prayers.

My husband and I are very saddened to hear of Mike’s passing.  We both enjoyed the company of Mike at several dinners and family events occurring at Tony and Jen Matthew’s home.  He was a very generous and caring man.  He will be missed!

You are the greatest and funniest, but also quite possibly the most stubborn and frustrating! I’m sure you would laugh at that because that’s the type of friendship we had - I always gave it to you straight, even if you didn’t want to hear it! And vice versa!
I know how much you loved Andy and Millie, and we are completely devastated. Your love story with Andy should not be ending this way - you guys were finally making it happen and planning the next chapter of your lives together.
You’ve always been a father figure to Millie and she loves you so much. I truly thought you would be walking her down the aisle one day, right by Andy’s side. I can’t express how much we miss you and love you. ❤️
