Passed away peacefully at the Grace Manor on Tuesday December 12, 2017 in her 94th year. Mildred was born in Ottawa on November 6, 1924, the 11th child and the last survivor of 12 children born to James and Margaret Driscoll (nee Gallagher). Predeceased by brothers; James, Leo, Lloyd, William and sisters; Irene, Jenny, Dorothy, Nellie, Kay, Muriel and Mary. Mildred will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the doctors and staff at the Ottawa Civic Campus and everyone at the Grace Manor for her end of life care. Family and friends may pay their respects at McEvoy- Shields Funeral 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Saturday December 16, from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Funeral Liturgy in the Chapel at 11:30 followed by a reception. Cremation will take place and a burial at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fallowfield at a later date.
