It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Nora on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Daughter of the late Edwin and Marie (nee Chaput). Beloved wife of the late George Karayanis. Loving mother of Richard, Joanne, Donna and Marika (Gary). Cherished Grandma of Joshua, Michael, Jessica and Allison. Dear sister of Violet, Irene (late Rupert), Reina (Napolean) and Marie (Joseph). She was predeceased by her brothers Philias, Edgar (late Anita), Loranzo, Rene (Jeannette) and her sisters Lillian (late Micheal John [MJ]) and Aline (late Aldege). Mom will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held November 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church, 320 Olmstead St., Vanier, ON. The family would like to thank the staff of the Ottawa Hospitals for their attentive and compassionate care. We would also like to thank Rotel Ottawa for their support during these many months.
