Dear Ed and family, we send you are deepest condolences for the loss of your life partner and (mother). We are truly sorry for not making the time to stop and see you both after being reunited in the past under similar circumstances. I personally have some good memories way back when I was a young lad, and you were the perfect host showing this city kid  both the workings and fun to be had on a country farm.

Even though we have not been neighbors for many years I often think of our time in Ottawa.  Most of my memories include your house and Mrs. Kossatz.  She always treated Jim and I like one of her own...comforting us when we hurt ourselves, praising us when we behaved, and yes, giving us a "good old fashion talking to" when it was deserved.  I am truely sorry for your loss and hope you take some comfort in the knowledge that she will be remembered fondly by many.

To Ed and family, please accept my sincere condolences for your beloved  Patricia. As ex Art Bank work colleague, I remember you Ed and your wife and thinking; this couple are soul mates, your love for each other was beautiful and strong. Pat was an excellent cook and the most generous person I know. Whom do you know who fabricates for several years annual X-Mas mementos, pins and tree ornaments for her husbands co-workers. Pat is the only person I know to date who did this and she was a lovely person with a joy de vivre that do not leave us indifferent.
