Patrick Charles Way

C’est avec grand regret que nous annonçons le décès de Monsieur Patrick Charles Way. Il nous a quitté le 15 septembre 2025 à l’âge de 54 ans. Il était le fils de feu Robert Way et de feu Elaine Way (née Thivierge). Il était l’époux bien-aimé de Natalie-Renée Way (née Rancourt) ainsi que le père bienveillant de Vincent et de Colin.

Outre son épouse et ses enfants, il laisse dans le deuil son frère Marc-André Way (Sarah O’Connor), ses nièces Sabrina et Ciara ainsi que son neveu Cayden ainsi que ses tantes, oncles, cousin, cousines et plusieurs amis.

La famille désire remercier l’équipe de médecins et d’infirmières de l’Hôpital Civic d’Ottawa pour leurs bons soins prodigués.

Des visites auront lieu jeudi le 2 octobre 2025 de 14 H 00 à 16 H 00 et de 19 H 00 à 21 H 00 à la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa, Ontario). Une messe commémorative sera célébrée en la Cathédrale Notre-Dame d’Ottawa vendredi 3 octobre à 10 h 00.

La famille recevra les condoléances en la Cathédrale dès 9 h 30 le vendredi 3 octobre 2025.

En mémoire de Patrick, vos vœux de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’A.C.V. du Canada.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Patrick Charles Way. He passed away on September 15, 2025, at 54. He was the son of the late Robert Way and the late Elaine Way (née Thivierge). He was the beloved husband of Natalie-Renée Way (née Rancourt) and the caring father of Vincent and Colin.

Along with his wife and children, he is survived by his brother Marc-André Way (Sarah O’Connor), his nieces Sabrina and Ciara, his nephew Cayden, and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

The family wishes to thank the team of doctors and nurses at the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their excellent care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario). A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame Cathedral (385 Sussex Drive) on Friday, October 3, at 10:00 AM.

The family will receive condolences at the Cathedral beginning at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 3, 2025.

In memory of Patrick, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada may be made as a memorial.
