Peter Perry

Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital surrounded by his family, Peter went to be with Jesus on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. Peter was the beloved husband to his loving wife Janet for 68 years, but were friends for over 73 years. He is the dear father of Colleen (John), Sharon, Patrick, and Joanne (Bruce). Amazing grandad to 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers John, Ned (Heather) and sister Jackie, along with all his many nieces and nephews. Peter is predeceased by his parents and 6 siblings. Peter also touched the hearts of so many others, he will be sadly missed by all.

The family will receive relatives and friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road), on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 10 am – 12:30 pm. Funeral mass will follow at St. Bernard`s Church, 1720 St Bernard Street at 1 pm. A reception will follow the Mass in the church hall. Peter will be laid to rest with his late son at Notre-Dame Cemetery, later in the spring
