René Beauchamp

C'est avec tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès soudain de René Beauchamp survenu le 15 septembre 2012 à l'âge de 89 ans. Il était l'époux de feu de Réjeanne Beauchamp (née Nolet). Il était le père dévoué de Monique (Michael Robbins). Le grand-père adoré de Anne (Marc-André Blanke), de Allison (Martin Bélisle) et l'arrière grand-père de Léo Robbins-Bélisle, dont il était très fier. Il va être manqué par sa chère amie Florence Marcus. Toujours positif, René jouissait de la vie entouré des gens qu'il aimait. Une célébration de sa vie aura lieu le 24 septembre 2012 à la Résidence Lord Landsdowne, 920 rue Bank, Ottawa, à compter de 15h00. La famille désire témoigner toute sa reconnaissance à l'équipe des soins intensifs de l'hôpital Général d'Ottawa ainsi qu'au personnel de la Résidence Lord Landsdowne pour leur dévouement. Vos marques de sympathies peuvent se traduire par un don à l'Institut de cardiologie d'Ottawa. Un service religieux privé aura lieu à une date ultérieure. It is with great sadness we announce the death of René Beauchamp who passed away suddenly on September 15th, 2012 in his 90th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Réjeanne Beauchamp (née Nolet). Cherished father of Monique (Michael Robbins), devoted grandfather of Anne (Marc-André Blanke), Allison (Martin Bélisle) and great grandfather of Léo Robbins-Bélisle whom he was so proud of. He will be missed by his dear friend, Florence Marcus. René loved being surrounded by people, and having a good time and always had a positive attitude. A celebration of his life will be held for family and friends on Monday, September 24th, 2012 at The Lord Lansdowne Retirement Home, 920 Bank St. Ottawa, starting at 3:00pm. Those wishing may make donations in memory of René to the Ottawa Heart Institute. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the team of the ICU dept. of the OGH campus for their care and devotion. A special thank you to the staff of The Lord Lansdowne where he enjoyed his last few years. A private service and interment will be held at a later date. We'll raise a glass to you Dad!
