Peacefully, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Gisele Lessard. Loving father of Lynda, Lorraine (Danny), Julie, Sylvie (Domenic) and Nicole (Marc). Proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Peggy Owens (Doug) and Cecile Dewan, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 9-10:30 am. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11 am at St. Geneviève Church 825 Canterbury (at Arch Street). In lieu of flowers in memoriam donations to the Red Cross would be appreciated.
