Passed away on Saturday September 24, 2011 at the age of 59. He was the son of the late Alcide Goyette and the late Angelina Laporte. He leaves in sorrow his beloved wife Maryann Durant, his loving children Tammy (David Hebner) and Tim Goyette, his step-daughters Patricia and Melissa Durant as well as his 2 grandchildren. He also leaves the mother of his children Elizabeth Brown, many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, family members and friends. Special thanks to the Ottawa General Hospital and Élisabeth Bruyère Health Care Center for the excellent care provided. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday September 29, 2011 at noon at Racine, Robert & Gauthier’s Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). The family will be receiving sympathies from 11:30. In memory of Richard, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
