It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bob, who passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Kathy (Muir). He is predeceased by his parents Osborne Brady and Vera St. Louis and sisters Shirley & Sandra. Survived by brothers Jack (Gail) and Jim and sister-in-law Jan (Fern). Bob will be greatly missed by all who had the honour of knowing him, especially the staff and residents of Rideau Place on the River, where Bob worked for over 25 years. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team for all their efforts and especially to Ray, Anne and Sherlyn for their care and support. Bob enriched the lives of everyone he touched. Please join Bob`s family at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 6-9 pm for a gathering in celebration of Bob's life. A private inurnment at Dale`s Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
