Roland (Rolly) Desjardins

Il était le fils de feu de Rodolphe Desjardins et de feu de Valéda Beaulne.

Il laisse dans le deuil son amie de toujours et ancienne épouse Simone Jolicoeur et ses chers enfants, Roland (Céline Charette), Simone (Bernard Grégoire), Richard (Karen Hopps), Lise et Daniel Bergeron-Desjardins. Il laisse également plusieurs petits-enfants bien-aimés : Tanya, Martin, Éric, Julien, Zackary, Tyler, Andrea, Simon et Samuel et plusieurs arrières-petits-enfants : Aspen, Daisy, Liam, Summer, Brooke, William, Willow, Livia, Sunny, Zoely et William. Il laisse son frère Roger (Carmen) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Il fut pré-décédé par ses frères et soeurs, Rodolphe (“Pete”), Jean-Paul, René, Gérard, Alfred, Marguerite, Géraldine, Thérèse et Rita.

La famille souhaite remercier tout le personnel de l’hôpital Civic pour les bons soins.

Une célébration de vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure dans l’intimité familiale.

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à l’institution de cardiologie de l’université d’Ottawa seraient grandement appréciés.

Born March 23, 1935, passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 86 years old.

He was the son of the late Rodolphe Desjardins and the late Valéda Beaulne.

He leaves in sorrow his friend and former wife Simone Jolicoeur and his dear children, Roland (Céline Charette), Simone (Bernard Grégoire), Richard (Karen Hopps), Lise and Daniel Bergeron-Desjardins. He also leaves in sorrow his beloved grand-children: Tanya, Martin, Éric, Julien, Zackary, Tyler, Andrea, Simon and Samuel, as well as many great grand-children: Aspen, Daisy, Liam, Summer, Brooke, William, Willow, Livia, Sunny, Zoely and William. He leaves in sorrow his brother, Roger (Carmen) as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was pre-deceased by his brothers and sisters, Rodolphe (“Pete”), Jean-Paul, René, Gérard, Alfred, Marguerite, Géraldine, Thérèse and Rita.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Civic Hospital for the good care.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the intimacy of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
