It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Roland on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. Michael`s Hospital in Toronto at the age of 44 years surrounded by his family and closest friends. Beloved and much loved son of Marian and Elizabeth Rzucidlo of Hull, Quebec. Beloved brother of Marius (Keli Hogan) of Aylmer, Quebec and loving uncle of Luka, Emma and Noah. Loved by his many cousins in Poland and New York and by his countless friends from around the world. A celebration of Roland's life will take place on Wednesday March 8, 2017 upstairs at the Churchmouse Pub, 475 Church Street, Toronto, Ontario at 5pm to close. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, , 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 7-9 pm, with the Rosary prayers at 8 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10 am at St. Hyacinth`s Polish Church, 201 Lebreton Street (at Louisa Street), followed by Interment at St. Redempteur Cemetery, Hull, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to Covenant House Toronto or the Yonge Street Mission would be appreciated.
