Samih Moussa Khairallah

Known for his generosity, kindness and calm demeanour, Samih was tolerant, respectful, and loving. He had a quiet strength, and his warmth and openness earned him the affection and respect of many. He was a devoted family man and father, who loved and was loved deeply.

Samih took great pride in his Lebanese heritage and his native village of Bteghrine. Since his arrival in Ottawa in 1987, he was actively involved in the community and remained dedicated to multiple organisations.

He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. Samih, son of Moussa and Najla, leaves behind his wife, Taghrid, and his daughters, Christiane and her family, and Patricia. He is also survived by his brothers Ghassan, Naji, and Fadi, and their families.

May he rest in peace. Allah yerhamo.

Visitation will be held at McEvoy - Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 11:00 am at Saints Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church 1161 North River Road, Ottawa, ON.

In memory of Samih, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Saints Peter and Paul Church.
