At a time in my life when I needed help and acceptance Cat was both and very strong.
I met her through Hairapy  and her advice and good sense will be valued for my lifetime.
So very sad, she deserved more... more of every reward a person can have.

I was Cat's accountant and was shocked when I heard the news. 

Tammy was a great entrepreneur and had a great vision for her future. 

God bless her soul!

My deepest condolences to the entire family.

I volunteered with Cat at the Look Good Feel Better workshops. She was such a dedicated volunteer, always first person to rsvp to my attendance emails.

Ottawa has lost a shinning star. Cat knew what losing your hair felt like.  Our clients had no idea how fortunate they were to attend her wig portion of our workshops.   She helped so many women combat hair loss with all the beautiful wigs she would offer and was always compassionate, informative and genuinely caring to each and every woman.

I am truly shocked with the news of her passing and will miss not having her in this world.  She will be missed by so many.  May she find peace.

Sincere Sympathy to all of Tammy's Family,
I met and worked with Tammy on the night shift at the RCMP's Canadian Firearms Registry.  We had some good laughs on our breaks late into the night and early morning.  Tammy had such a kind heart and wanted to do all she could to help someone.  We parted ways when the Firearms Registry closed down.  I was so saddened to learn of her passing from her Uncle Bobby at the dance in Bryson, Quebec.

Tammy and I met over the phone when I lived in British Columbia, and she worked in Ottawa at DND.  She was always going the extra mile to help everyone, myself included.  We used to spend hours talking on the phone discussing her goals and dreams from working on a cruise ship to starting her own business.  She was the one who encouraged me to move to Ottawa and helped me find a job and then a house. Our last conversation was to make plans for our babies (Cocker Spaniel) to meet and have a playdate. I’m terribly saddened that we no longer have the opportunity, and I will miss her dearly.


I met Tammy back in 2001 when we worked together on the night shift at the RCMP. We both ended up going to work at DND together as well. Tammy was one of the hardest working young women I ever met. She was so determined to do a good job and make her mark in life. Obviously, based on her success as a businesswoman, that steely determination paid off. She was a good soul with a big heart and great compassion. Even though we didn't see each other or talk much it was always reassuring to know she was out there changing the world on goal at a time. I will miss her dearly.

I knew her professionally, from 2012. She was always dedicated to her loved ones and her work, and struck me as such a kind hearted soul.
Over the years I knew her she worked hard on herself, and in her business. She was highly respected with her dedication to her goals.
I know it was important for her to make a positive difference in the world. And she did.
I will miss her ..  and I truly believe that she is still here, watching out for her loved ones. A special soul indeed.

Ma fille l’aimait tellement qu’elle la considérait comme son amie et deuxième mère. Il n’y a pas de mots pour exprimer sa compassion et sa générosité et quel riche et immense cœur Dieu lui a donné. Tammy restera gravé à jamais dans mon cœur car une grande partie de moi e a quitté ce monde et quelle immense tristesse

Hi Donna and Seb, 

I am so sorry for your loss. I work with Donna at Canadian Blood Services and when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, I reached out to Cat to help me select a wig. Cat was such a sweet and compassionate person and her kindness helped me navigate such a scary time in my life. I have never forgotten her and I hope you can find some comfort in knowing how much Cat has impacted many, many lives in the cancer community and beyond. 

My sincerest condolences to you. Tammy, or as I knew her - Cat - a beautiful and wonderful force. She exuded love and excitement in sharing her gifts. 

Her compassion and humour and expertise are some of the things that I will miss. 

It was an honour and a pleasure to volunteer with Tammy at the Look Good Feel Better workshops. I learned so much from her. I was so looking forward to being back at in person workshops with her. 

It was a blessing to have known Tammy. May you find comfort in the memories that are shared with you and that you hold dear to your heart.

I am so sorry  for your great loss! I loss my youngest brother of 6 at 53 of a sudden heart attack.
So sad in both cases !
