Vincent McCann

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Vince who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 06, 2014. Vince, of Orleans, passed away at the age of 51 years after a lengthy illness. He worked at CMHC for the last 9 years and enjoyed playing and organizing hockey leagues. He had creative and artistic talents, which he demonstrated on numerous occasions. Some of his hobbies included playing various sports, designing, drawing and crafting.Beloved husband of Suzanne (Gratton), loving father of Stephanie (Dan), Jeffrey (Mélissa), cherished brother of Rod (Janet), Donna, Charlene (Claude), Michael (Gaby) Terry, Pat, Howie, Debra, Valerie, Peggy (Terry), Maureen (Bill), Tim (Ginette), Christine, Joanne (Guy) and Buddy (Georgina). Son-in-law to Sylvio and Claire Gratton, dear brother-in-law to Diane (Jean-Jacques), Richard (Isabel), Sylvie (Alain). Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bunny McCann and Joan Prôt. Special thanks to his dear friend, Bruce Hickson for his ongoing support; to his sister Valerie McCann for her dedication and special care, and to Max Hamlyn and Dr. Brulé. Special thank you to everyone who supported Vince and his family along the way. Visitation will take place at Racine Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Rd, Vanier, ON K1L 1B4 on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Christian Mass to celebrate Vince's life at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, 320 Olmstead St, Vanier, ON K1L 7K3, on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11:00 am.
