A devoted father and grandfather, Wajdi’s smile, kindness, and sense of humour brought warmth and laughter to everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Diana, Vivian (Elie Khouri), Robbie, and Ivana, as well as by his extended family and dear friends.
Wajdi cared profoundly for his family. He took immense pride in his children and grandchildren and was happiest when gathered together with those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him and in the countless lives he touched.
The family will be accepting condolences on Friday, March 6, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd., Ottawa, K1V 1A6.
