It is with heavy hearts that we announce Wilbur’s peaceful passing at the Gatineau Hospital on July 18, 2024. Born in Ottawa on September 5, 1942 he was the son of the late Wilbur Corcoran Sr. and of the late Simone Laporte.
He leaves in mourning his beloved wife of many years Marie DeBeaumont, his son Darrell and step-daughter Tanya (Marty).
He will be missed by his grandchildren; Justine (Alex), Zaccary (Cynthia), Izabel, Nadya along with his great-grandchildren; Alfi and Miro.
Wilbur also leaves behind his brother Bruce (Danielle) and his sister Linda (Claude) as well as his niece Kim (André) and his nephew Jeffrey (Pascale).
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at Saint-Patrick Basilica (220 Kent Street, Ottawa, Ontario) on Friday August 23, 2024 at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a memorial contribution in Wilbur’s name to a charitable organization of your choice.
