William "Bill" Vachon

Décédé paisiblement le 18 mai 2017 à Élisabeth Bruyère à l’âge de 75 ans. Il était le fils de feu Georgette Vachon, l’époux d’Alberte « Abby » Guertin. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil son fils Michel Vachon ; ses petites-filles : Melissa et Ashley Vachon ; son arrière-petit-fils Noah ; sa sœur Diane Côté ; son beau-frère Henri Tremblay ; sa belle-sœur Georgette Guertin Bradwin; ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. La famille désire remercier le personnel d’Élisabeth Bruyère pour leurs excellents soins prodigués. Il y aura un service commémoratif le jeudi 1 juin 2017 à 14h en la chapelle de la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa ; 613-241-3680). La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 13h30. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC ou la Société canadienne du Cancer seraient grandement appréciés.

Passed away peacefully on May 18, 2017 at the Elisabeth Bruyère at the age of 75. He was the son of the late Georgette Vachon. Loving husband to Alberte ”Abby” Guertin. Adored father to Michel Vachon. Cherished grandfather to Melissa and Ashley Vachon. Precious great grandfather to Noah. Dear brother to Diane Côté. He also leaves his brother-in-law Henri Tremblay; his sister-in-law Georgette Guertin Bradwin; as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyère for the excellent care provided. Family will receive condolences starting at 1:30 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa; 613-241-3680). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
