Bill passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in his 92nd year. Son of the late Joseph and Mona (Burke) Turner of Osgoode. Beloved husband for 65 years of Janet Ferguson. Dear father of William “Billie” Turner, Joanne Morozuk (David) and Judy Mahoney (Mike). Loving grandfather of Mellissa and Jessica; Corey and Jesse (Amanda) and great-grandfather of Devin and Logan. Bill is survived by his siblings Mary Blanchfield (the Late Ernie), Frank (late Joyce), Wayne (Janice) and predeceased by Phillip (Joan), Eileen McEvoy (late Lorne), Leo (Judy), Margaret, Ann Loughlin (late Maurice), Edmund (Terry and late Joan) and Allen (Viola). We will all miss Bill’s jokes and sense of humour. Friends and family may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road, on Friday, January 24 from 2-5pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 25, at 1pm in St. John the Evangelist Church, 2540 Stagecoach Road, Enniskerry. Interment Parish Cemetery in the spring. A special thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Ruddy-Shenkman for their wonderful care of Bill.
