Alejandro Brilata

1927 - 2014

Beloved Husband, Father & Lolo, Passed away peacefully on February 15, 2014 with his wifeand family by his side. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, for which he proudly served for 20 years. He retired and worked for another 20+ years as a Civil Servant at Point Mugu Naval Air Base.

Alex loved to bowl. He bowled in many leagues with friends and for fun with his family. He also enjoyed watching his favorite basketball team the L.A. Lakers. He truly enjoyed his many trips around the world with his wife and friends, but he cherished his many, many trips to Las Vegas and other casinos with his friends and family.(Lots of Memories).

He is survived by his wife Flocerpida (Flo) of 60 years. His children Liz (Larry) Faulkner, Alex Jr. (Dottie) Brilata, Paul, Jeff Brilata. Lolo to Anthony (Gem) Brilata, Chessa Faulkner, Isabell Brilata, Robert Brilata, and Joseph Scholle. Lolo also leaves behind his great grandchildren, Serenity, JoJo and Anthony Scholle. Brother In-Law Ernie (Ceta) TaFalla, Auntie Jocby and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 in the Chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad Carroll, 401 W. Channel Is. Blvd., Oxnard, Ca (805)487-4911 on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Mary Star of The Sea Catholic Church, Oxnard, with Father Fidel officiating. Burial is planned for a later date.
