He was born April 27, 1938, in Igbaras, Iloilo, Philippines, and was a resident of Ventura County for 29 years coming from Glenview, Ill. He worked as a cook for 32 years and enjoyed fishing, cooking, and taking care of his family. He was a friend of St. Alphonsus Seminary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Asuncion Eborda; sisters, Eugenia Eborda Estrellanes and Adelina Eborda Yumang; and brother, Irenio Eborda.
He is survived by his wife, Fe Sambajon Eborda of Oxnard; daughters, Emma Eborda Clark and husband Joshua of Oxnard, and April Eborda DeOssie and husband Mike of Vernon, Vt.; son, Ronald Anton Eborda, Sr. and wife Christine of Oak Harbor, Wash.; grandchildren, Elaine Clark, Ronald Eborda, Jr., and Christopher Eborda.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, at FDA Conrad's & James Reardon Mortuary, with rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
