

Arlene Estrada of Oxnard, California entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Arlene was born February 20, 1931 in San Angelo, Texas to the union of Americo and Anita Cavazos. She was a Ventura County resident for 79 years coming from San Angelo, Texas. She retired from Hueblin after 39 years of service, then enjoyed being a homemaker and grandmother who loved spending time in her garden and most important to her was spending quality time with her family. Her family brought her so much joy and happiness.
Throughout her life she was a beautiful stunning woman who prided herself in getting her nails and hair done, also always dressing to impress. She was a very generous and giving person always thinking of others. Lady luck was on her side when she visited Las Vegas, She also enjoyed shopping. Arlene will be sorely missed and never forgotten by all her loving family. She dearly adored and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents Americo and Anita Cavazos. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Richard Estrada, will be dearly missed by children; Victor Hernandez (son) George Hernandez (son), Daughters Liz Villegas (Greg), Helene Lugo (Carlos), Grandchildren, Phillip, Nicole, Christina, Brandon, Christopher, Sonia, Rey, Savannah, Josh, Carlos II, and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00pm in the chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad Carroll Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Isl. Blvd. Oxnard, CA (805)487-4911. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Oxnard., Burial will immediately follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, Oxnard.
